Velasquez Family Coffee was started by Guillermo and Cathy Velasquez to sell the high quality coffee grown by our family and friends in the mountains of Honduras. This ensures them a livable income and supports their effort to protect and enhance the precious cloud forest ecosystem where they farm. Velasquez Family Coffee has been featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, The Twin Cities Daily Planet, and in The Brief, a publication of the University of Minnesota. We were honored to be one of 14 finalists in the Neighborhood Development Center's 2012 Annual Awards banquet.

How to Buy Velasquez Family Coffee
1) Order through our secure Shopping Cart -- You can also email us through our web form or call us at 651-587-5356.
2) Free Monthly Delivery -- If you live or work in Saint Paul or Minneapolis (and some nearby suburbs) we can deliver to your home or office FREE of charge on the 2nd Friday of the month. Our next delivery dates are January 13 and February 10. Order coffee occasionally or every month, as you wish. Sign up for a monthly subscription and one 12 oz bag is FREE.
3) Monthly Mail Orders -- Even if you don't live in our free delivery area, save 10% by signing up for a monthly mailed subscription.
4) Retail Outlets -- Stop by one of our few retail partners.

Chocolate Hazelnut Cream: Rich Honduran beans combined with sharp dark chocolate and rich nutty taste of gourmet hazelnut. This special brew is a perfect holiday treat.
Confused Santa: Is it March? Is it December? We asked Santa for his favorite coffee flavor when he comes down the chimney...and my, Santa is confused! He wanted a delicious Irish Cream coffee, with an extra (large) splash of rum and a dash(er) of hazelnut...topped with whipped cream and nutmeg. What Santa wants, Santa gets.
Drunken Uncle: Yes, we have one too….and it’s delicious! Picture yourself around the fireplace basking in the soothing tastes of Kahlua and Irish Cream laced with Gran Marnier.
English Toffee: A tad of caramel, a touch of chocolate, a spot of cream, very British, very buttery, very good.

This summer we received the most amazing gift!! Ashwin Atre (aatre55@gmail.com) and Olivia Sparkuhl just spent some time on the coffee farm in Rio Negro with Avilio and Bertilia (they are driving from California to South America!).
